Nathan has more than a decade of experience in journalism, communications and investor relations. Nathan has worked in both the public and private sectors, being particularly focused on the resources industry.
Simon joined NWR in March 2012 after working at a stockbroking firm in Melbourne. He has a strong knowledge of the equity market, specifically the small to mid-cap space, and holds a vast network of contacts in the industry, which is of great benefit to our clients.
Simon has a Commerce (Finance) degree from Deakin University and a Graduate Diploma of Applied Finance from KAPLAN. He specialises in small-mid cap industrials, technology, and resources stocks.
Victoria has extensive experience in corporate communications and investor services with over 20 years spent in London and Melbourne PR/IR firms. Between 2009 and 2015, Victoria was a Director of Six Degrees Investor Relations, having founded its Melbourne operation, where she managed public and investor relations for a range of ASX-listed companies.
Victoria leads one of the natural resources teams at NWR, where she works closely with clients to facilitate a complete investor and media relations communications strategy. Victoria maintains significant IPO experience.
Previously, Victoria was a Director at London PR firm St Brides, where she specialised in mining, energy and investment markets.
Throughout her career, Victoria has developed a broad range of skills across all areas of corporate communications and has a great understanding of the commercial needs of her clients. She is a member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors (MAICD).
Stefi is a skilled communicator adept at converting complex investment messaging into compelling, easy to digest digital content, helping ASX-listed companies develop and maintain a strong digital presence.
Running social media channels for a portfolio of NWR’s clients ranging from microcaps to ASX200 companies across various sectors, her focus is on driving growth across core digital channels; amplifying key messages to shareholders and helping companies maintain investor attention, via the delivery of a consistent and impactful flow of content, including animation and video, to deliver eye-catching feeds.
Stefi has honed her communications and storytelling skills through working across various areas of NWR’s business, including online strategy, investor and media relations, ASX content development, websites, email marketing, virtual conferences and webinars, collateral development and end-to-end events management. She holds a Bachelor of Arts/Journalism (Monash University) and a post-graduate Diploma in Public Relations (RMIT).
Matthew has more than six years’ agency experience in investor and media relations working with ASX-listed small to mid-cap companies spanning the biotech, tech, resources and agribusiness sectors. His writing and editing skills combined with a strong contact list across media and financial markets prove particularly advantageous to clients.
Matthew graduated from Deakin University after completing a Bachelor of Arts with majors in both media and communications and public relations.
Tim has more than eight years’ experience in finance and journalism as an analyst, stockbroker and investment editor. He has worked as an emerging company share adviser, in institutional equity sales in London, and has edited one of Australia’s best-regarded small-cap investment services.
Tim brings to NWR analytical rigour, first-rate writing skills and a keen eye for what motivates investors and drives market expectations — particularly for small to mid-cap stocks.
Tim holds a Bachelor of Commerce and Bachelor of Science from the University of Melbourne where he attained majors in Finance and Physics.
Peter has more than 12 years stockbroking experience including Morgans, Macquarie Equities and Balnave Capital. He has spent the last three years as Resources Analyst at Orient Capital and the Open Briefing report.
His broad market experience covers multiple sectors, including bio-tech, medical and industrial companies.
Sam has more than 12 years industry experience, most recently at Bank of America Merrill Lynch where he’s been for nine years. Sam worked in a variety of roles within Equity Capital Markets and Sales & Trading in Sydney, New York and London. Prior to BofA, Sam worked in Equity Capital Markets at Bell Potter Securities in Melbourne and Sydney.
Sam holds a Masters in Applied Finance from Macquarie University, as well as a Bachelor of Business and Bachelor of Laws from the University of Tasmania.
Sam has developed a deep understanding of international markets while maintaining strong global connectivity, notably across North America and Europe. His ability to leverage existing domestic and international networks provide unique insights into what the investor community is looking for. His robust relationships, fostered by a consistent communication loop, assists in understanding stakeholder sentiment, positioning and stock-specific detail. Sam is a natural partner to C-suite and senior management, advising on markets-related strategic initiatives.
Alex joined NWR Communications as Director in August 2021. Alex worked as Editor of paid investment newsletter, Diggers and Drillers, providing stock recommendations on mining juniors, with a focus on copper, uranium, precious metals and battery minerals and built up a readership of 20,000 over five years. He then joined Canaccord Genuity at director level in their research department and following that spent four years as director for market insights platform, Livewire Markets, supporting their journey from start-up to market leader. His most recent role was as communications director for Lucerne Investment Partners, a boutique wealth manager.
With 12 years of experience in journalism and public relations, Nicole’s career has taken her from a busy tri-weekly newspaper in country Victoria to the engine room of WA’s mining boom as a senior journalist in the Pilbara.
She spent time as a writer and editor of The West Australian-owned Mining Chronicle, Oil and Gas Bulletin and other industry publications, before joining the NWR Communications team in 2010.
Kristin is an experienced account manager, having worked with listed and unlisted companies in various industry sectors including resources, biotech, tech and agribusiness sectors.
Her focus is on driving growth across core digital channels, amplifying key messages to shareholders and helping companies maintain investor attention, via the delivery of a consistent and impactful flow of content, working with microcaps to ASX200 companies across various sectors. She collaborates with clients to help them create a strong online presence and optimise their digital communications.
Mel has a strong background working with small to mid-cap ASX listed companies, with more than eight years of experience in financial markets.
She has worked in equity capital markets and private wealth teams at Wilsons and Bell Potter. She also developed market communication skills within the corporate affairs team at Wilson Asset Management.
Maude’s extensive experience within the small/mid-cap space and her strong interpersonal skills provide a key attribute to clients seeking to grow their institutional register base.
Maude joined NWR from Wilsons, where she was an integral part of the institutional sales team in a Corporate Access role. Maude has a Commerce degree with international business and economics majors and a Graduate Diploma of Applied Finance.
Aiden has more than 20 years of equity markets experience, covering both large and small capitalization stocks, in Australia, the UK, US and Asia. 15 plus of those years were spent on the sell-side in equity research covering a range of sectors for bulge bracket International Investment Banks such as Goldman Sachs and Citigroup and several leading local stockbroking firms. Prior to his career in Equity Research, Aiden worked in Corporate Finance (Natural Resources) at UBS in London.
Aiden holds a BComm in Banking and Finance from University College Dublin, as well as a Graduate Diploma of Applied Corporate Governance from the Governance Institute of Australia. Aiden is also a member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors and the Australasian Investor Relations Association.
Aiden has developed a deep understanding of several ASX sectors since moving to Australia. When based in Sydney, he was Head of the Resources team at ABN Amro and Head of Energy Research at Goldman Sachs. More recently he has been focusing on small cap industrials and property stocks for brokers in Perth.
Aiden has a deep and extensive network with both brokers and investors here in Australia (for 5 years he was voted the top Energy analyst / team in investor surveys Peter Lee and East Coles) and overseas, and has been involved in a very long list of equity raisings, roadshows and corporate advisory projects etc. Aiden has a passion for working with C-suite and senior management on markets-related strategic initiatives and assisting them build up their market presence and relationships with the investment community.
Ben joined NWR from Australian wealth management firm E.L. & C. Baillieu, now owned by Ord Minnett, where he spent 8 years working within the research department. Ben started his career in finance at a boutique wealth management firm before joining Shaw and Partners, where he was employed in various roles across research, IT and wealth management.
Ben holds a Master of Journalism and a bachelor’s degree majoring in communications.
Ben has 18 years’ experience in journalism and communications roles, with particular focus on the mining and resources industries. Before joining NWR Communications, Ben worked as the Editor of several industry publications, including five years as Managing Editor of Australian Mining.
Andrew has over 15 years experience in the financial markets focusing on investment and business development. For the last 6 years Andrew was a Private Client Adviser at Asenna Wealth Capital, where he worked closely with clients providing investment advice and facilitating IPO allocations, capital raises and on-market transactions. Andrew has a strong interest in the small cap resources space and provides an invaluable insight into the investor markets. At NWR, Andrew works with clients to ensuring their social media campaigns optimise key messaging stakeholders and potential investors.
Mel gained more than 20 years’ experience in corporate sales and sponsorship with the AFL, encompassing team leadership, strategic advice, leverage and activation, media and content, and contract negotiation, before moving into Investor Relations several years ago.
She enjoys working with small to mid-cap clients, particularly in the resources sector, with a focus on relationship management.
Kylie has a demonstrated history of success developing and managing strong investor relations to improve financial performance of private and publicly listed companies. She excels in managing consistent communications between corporate management and investors to deliver key messages.
Kylie has a Bachelor of Accounting and an MBA from RMIT in Melbourne. She has a passion for learning about the latest innovative technology within the digital space.
Simon gained more than 15 years’ experience in the science and education sectors before his interest in equity markets led him to pursue a role with the NWR team in early 2021.
Through his career, Simon held various senior leadership roles including head of department and he has honed strong financial management and analytical skills.
As an analyst and account executive, Simon uses this background to provide research and analysis to help our clients communicate clearly to investors, with a focus on sustainability.
Prior to joining NWR, Linda accumulated more than 15 years of experience in diverse executive administrative positions, including 10 years dedicated to the resources and mining sector.
Linda works with our clients to ensure effective communications with investors and shareholders through the company’s website and social media platforms. She understands the importance of actively promoting companies’ key messages in a strategic manner and ensuring that potential and existing investors and stakeholders are kept up to date with latest news and developments.
Maya joined NWR Communications in 2022 as part of the digital communications team and became an Account Executive in 2024 after developing a keen interest in equity markets.
Maya is currently studying a Bachelor of Science (BSc) at the University of Melbourne.
